Dr. Randal Comeaux

Dr. Comeaux grew up in Mamou, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1974 and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry in 1978.

He completed a general practice residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and the LSU School of Dentistry, then trained in periodontics at the University of Iowa. He opened his Lafayette practice in the summer of 1982.

He treats with operating microscopes and periodontal endoscopes, which give a magnified view of the gums, bone and roots while he works.

Dr. Lauren Langlois

Board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon

Dr. Langlois is a board-certified periodontist and implant surgeon, and a native of Prairieville, Louisiana. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude as a University Medalist.

She then attended the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a dentist, graduating at the top of her class with the Dean’s Award. She went on to complete a three-year residency in periodontics and implantology at LSU, one of only three programs in the United States where residents also train in periodontal microsurgery.

Dr. Langlois treats periodontal disease both surgically and non-surgically, and specializes in bone regeneration, soft tissue grafting, implant therapy and IV sedation. Her training covered a wide range of materials and methods, which helps her build a personalized plan for each patient.

Her philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were family. Her favorite part of being a periodontist is helping patients on their journey to better oral health, and better overall health along with it.
